Wedding Announcements

Cherry-Stinson

The Reverend and Mrs. Hollis Cherry of Barney announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelley Susannah Cherry, to Lt. j. g., Erik Streed Stinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Stinson of Peachtree City.
The future bride is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Beaty of Auburn, Ala. and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Weyman Cherry of Dawson.
She is a graduate of Lowndes High School, Valdosta, and Auburn University, Auburn, Ala., where she received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is employed by Hope Village for Children in Meridian, Miss. as a cottage supervisor.
The future groom is the maternal grandson of Robert English and the late Charles Streed and Mrs. Carolyn Streed English of San Ramon, Calif., and the paternal grandson of Mrs. Brenda Stinson and the late James Stinson of La Jolla, Calif.
He is a graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia and Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. where he received a bachelor’s degree in aviation management. He is in the United States Navy, stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station in Lemoore, Calif., where he is an aviator flying the F-18 Super Hornet.
The wedding will be Dec. 20 at The Lodge and Conference Center at Grand National in Opelika, Ala.

Siders-Kelley

Jennifer Lynn Siders and Bryan David Kelley were married June 7, 2003, at 6:30 p.m., at The Foundry at Puritan Mill in Atlanta. Jay Pollard conducted the ceremony. A reception followed at The Foundry.
Maids of honor were Jennifer Waller and Heather Prado. The best man was Neil Edson.The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses in light pink.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Marti Valliant of Fayetteville and Daryl and Linda Siders of Xenia, Ohio. A 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School, she attended The Ohio State University for three years, and was graduated in 2001 from Georgia State University with a degree in psychology. She presently is employed as the shipping and receiving manager with Fayette Mower,
The groom is the son of Cathy Kelley of Fayetteville, and David and Carla Kelley of Alpharetta. He is a 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2000 graduate of The Atlanta College of Art where he received a degree in video. He presently is employed as an artist and video editor for IMTC at Georgia Tech.
The couple honeymooned on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and now resides in East Atlanta.

Williamson-Van Sant

Leslie Anne Williamson and Richard Lee Van Sant Jr. were married Sept. 20, 2003, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Marietta. The Rev. Dr.D.B. Shelnutt officiated. A reception at Roswell Founders Mall followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Phyllis and Duncan Williamson of Fayetteville. She is a 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Pharmacy. She presently is employed as a pharmacist with the North East Georgia Medical Center hospital.
The groom is the son of Ginger and Richard Van Sant Sr. of Cumming. He is a 1996 graduate of Milton High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Pharmacy. He presently is employed as a pharmacist with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Sottish Rite.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and presently resides in Alpharetta.
