Steve and Kimberly Ward of Tyrone announce the birth of twins, a daughter, Gaylen Elizabeth, and a son, Grant Stephen on Oct. 3, 2003. Gaylen Elizabeth, born at 3:34 p.m., weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. Grant Stephen was born at 3:35 p.m., weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Jimmy Hood of Fayetteville and the late Gayle Lance. Paternal grandparents are Dee Ward of Kingston, Tenn., and the late Sue Ward.
