Peachtree City police used phone records to identify two juvenile suspects accused of phoning in a bomb threat to McIntosh High School on the second anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States.

And other information led to the arrest of a 13-year-old juvenile for calling in a separate bomb threat against the Peachtree City Wal-Mart Saturday.

One of the suspects in the McIntosh hoax is 16 and a student at McIntosh while the other is a 15-year-old home-schooled student, police said. Both suspects live in Peachtree City, police said.

One of the juveniles was charged with one felony count of making terroristic threats and the other was charged with one felony count of making terrorist threats (party to a crime), police said.

In the Wal-Mart case, the 13-year-old was arrested Saturday after police developed other information leading to the suspect’s identification, police said. The juvenile called the bomb threat into the Fayette County 911 Communication Center, police said.

The 13-year-old has also been charged with making terroristic threats.

All three juveniles are in the custody of parents or guardians while awaiting their court hearing in Fayette County Juvenile Court.
