Cops take students to court – for basketball

Students at McIntosh and Starr’s Mill high schools will get a chance to square off with Peachtree City police — on the basketball court.

Sign-up for interested students will begin Tuesday during lunch period at both schools. Only 10 students from each school will be allowed to register for the game, which will be Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Kedron Fieldhouse.

The cost is $5 to play, and a $1 admission will be charged at the door for those wishing to attend.

The game is being sponsored by the Peachtree City Police Department, the Peachtree City Recreation Department and the Police/Youth Relationship Organization.
