PTC fire crews selling pumpkins again this year

With Halloween on the way, the Peachtree City Volunteer Firefighters Association is back with its annual pumpkin sale fundraiser.

The pumpkins will be sold at the Leach Station on Paschall Road just off Ga. Highway 74 south, and at the Weber Station on south Peachtree Parkway between Crosstown Road and Braelinn Road.

All proceeds from the sale are used to provide training and purchase equipment for firefighters.

Fire Chief Stony Lohr said this year’s pumpkin crop is better than previous years, with larger and higher-quality pumpkins available.
