The Arbors offers affordable way to enjoy Eagle's Brooke experience

The Arbors at Eagle’s Brooke, a neighborhood of 74 homesites, provides homebuyers with an affordable way to experience the lifestyle of Eagle’s Brooke, Killearn Properties’ master-planned community near Locust Grove.

With homes starting in the $150,000s, The Arbors, which is a part of the Eagle’s Brooke community, has its own amenities, and its homeowners have the opportunities for membership in the prestigious Eagle’s Brooke Golf and Country Club at the same price as residents of the more upscale Eagle’s Brooke Golf and Country Club neighborhood.

The Arbors, located adjacent to the northern portion of the Eagle’s Brooke Golf and Country Club property, can currently be reached by taking the Hwy. 155 exit of Interstate 75, going south two miles to Greenwood Drive, turning left and driving 1.3 miles to the neighborhood entrance. The permanent entrance will be constructed in the future on Lester Mill Road, which runs off Bill Gardner Parkway west of Locust Grove.

At present, 17 new homes are either sold or under contract in The Arbors. Majestic Residential LLC, headed by experienced home builders Hank Burney and Drayton Baker, is offering seven different two-story and ranch plans in the neighborhood.

The homes, which reflect the features contained in the Eagle’s Brooke Golf and Country Club neighborhood, have a long list of standard items which are normally upgrades in this price range. These include exquisite architectural details, such as rounded corners and arches, high ceilings, solid surface countertops, hardwood floors, Moen plumbing fixtures, Maytag appliances, and bonus rooms (per plan). Exteriors, which are of Traditional design, are either brick or stucco with cement plank siding, and yards are professionally landscaped.

The Eagle’s Brooke community is located in the new Luella school district and is a short drive from the Tanger Outlet Center. The Arbors’ amenities area will include a junior olympic-sized swimming pool, two-story picnic pavilion, nature trails, and play areas.

One of the best things about The Arbors, according to resident agent Craig Cardella, is that “we’re building a neighborhood, not just a subdivision. It’s small enough that everyone here knows each other, and we’ve already had several neighborhood activities.”

More information about The Arbors can be obtained by visiting the model home or calling Cardella or Jerry Yager, the on-site agents, at 678-432-8777.

Eagle’s Brooke community, which contains the Eagle’s Brooke Golf and Country Club and The Arbors neighborhoods, is a 1,200-acre planned development in southern Henry County. Chris Yager is the broker at the Eagle’s Brooke Sales Center.

The developer of Eagle’s Brooke, Killearn Properties, began developing communities in the Tallahassee, Fla., area in 1964 with two 4,000-acre master-planned communities, Killearn Estates and Killearn Lakes Plantation, which includes Golden Eagle. Since entering the Georgia market, the company has also developed Eagle’s Landing in Stockbridge, and current projects include Waterfall Country Club at Lake Burton and Kingwood Resort in the North Georgia mountains. In the planning stages is a golf community in Fulton County.
