Wednesday, October 8, 2003 Jones makes Top 25 list Tim Jones Communities is once again included in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s listing of “Atlanta’s Top 25 Home Builders.” The annual ranking, which was published in the newspaper’s edition for Aug. 29-Sept. 4, had Tim Jones Communities in the No. 20 position, the same spot the company earned the the two previous years. The ranking was based on the number of homes closed in 2002. Tim Jones Communities is a 23-year-old organization which is currently at the top of the leading builders in the Clayton/Henry area of Metro South. The company is now building at a pace of between 250 and 300 new homes a year. The owner and president is Tim Jones, who has been involved in building since he was 19 years old, was the 1998-99 president of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and is also a past president of the Metro South Home Builders Association. He was the 2000 Builder of the Year for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the 2000 Builder Member of the Year for the Home Builders Association of Georgia. In recent years, he and his company have been recognized with the prestigious Diamond Builder award from 2/10 Home Buyers Warranty, the nation’s leading 10-year home buyer’s warranty program, for a proven track record in superior construction standards, design quality, and outstanding customer service.
