Lake Overlook selling briskly

Lake Overlook, Brayson Homes’ neighborhood on Highpoint Road in Union City, is proof positive that a sought-after location is a factor resulting in healthy home sales.

Already with 21 recorded new home sales, the sidewalk and streetlight neighborhood is a short drive from Hartsfield Airport and downtown Atlanta, and it is convenient to I-85, I 285 and South Fulton Parkway. Major shopping and dining areas either nearby or a short drive away include Shannon Mall and the new Camp Creek MarketPlace, and Lake Overlook is also close to the new Liberty Point Elementary School and several golf courses.

The 45-home neighborhood has a small lake known as Lake Overlook which has a community gazebo, a perfect site for family picnics.

Lake Overlook has homes starting in the $140,000s, and the model home in the neighborhood is Brayson Homes’ Palmetto plan with a bonus room. The homes, which are pre-wired for security systems, are ranch and two-story plans with two-car garages, and special features (per plan) include vaulted ceilings, hardwood entry foyers, decorative planter shelves, cozy wood-burning fireplaces and bonus rooms.

Gwinnett-based Brayson Homes, which was founded in 1977, has sold over 7,000 new homes during its 26-year history. The company is active in Gwinnett, DeKalb, Cobb, South Fulton, Clayton, Coweta, Newton, Paulding and Henry County markets and will soon be building in Spalding and Douglas counties.

The Brayson Homes group of builders is one of only a few of the 13,000 builders in the more than 20-year history of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program to receive the prestigious Diamond Builder award for quality construction and customer service.

The company has earned awards in the prestigious Professionalism Competition sponsored by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the Sales & Marketing Council.
