Virtual Takeout to provide restaurant delivery for Fayette Community Hospital

Virtual Takeout, a new restaurant delivery service now serving Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Sharpsburg, Tyrone and Newnan, recently began delivering freshly prepared restaurant meals to Fayette Community Hospital guests and staff.

“We’re thankful that Fayette Community Hospital has extended their trust to us and has opened their doors to our new restaurant delivery service,” said Tracy Oden, Virtual Takeout franchise owner. “Each nursing station throughout the hospital will feature our menu portfolios which consist of menus from our participating restaurants. If hospital staff or guests become hungry, they can simply place an order with our delivery service and have their favorite food from their favorite restaurant delivered right to their hospital unit floor.”

In addition to providing restaurant delivery services for Fayette Community Hospital, Virtual Takeout is open to the public and delivers meals from area restaurants including Olde Mill Steakhouse, Malone’s Steak and Seafood, Schlotzsky’s Deli and Chic’n D’Lite to area homes, businesses and hotels throughout Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Sharpsburg and Tyrone. Currently the RDS only delivers to Newnan hotels and businesses. Plans for residential service in Newnan are underway.

“Virtual Takeout provides a valuable service to the community,” said Oden. “Our customers welcome the opportunity to have food, other than pizza and Chinese, delivered to them hot and fresh. They also appreciate the variety of options we provide, and the consistent high food quality from our participating restaurants.”

Virtual Takeout is open seven days a week from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The RDS will be adding new restaurants to its delivery network on a monthly basis. Customers can place delivery orders by calling 800-431-7046 or online at www.virtualtakeout.com. Average delivery time from placement of order to drop off is approximately one hour. Menus may be faxed or e-mailed upon request.
