According to Frederick Brown Jr. amphitheater director Donna Romeo, the show will go on.

Daryl Hall and John Oates are scheduled to close out the summer concert series this Friday and Saturday night before a sold out crowd on both nights. In a resignation letter from Scott Bradshaw, vice-chairman of the Development Authority of Peachtree City, Bradshaw stated that the authority would "have difficulty meeting the final payroll ($36,000) and paying the band ($50,000) for the last performance of the concert series."

Romeo stated that there was no problem and things were all accounted for, stating, "The show will definitely be on, with sound, lights and everything."

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday evening. Fayette County High School graduate Francisco Vidal and his band will open the show and there will be an auction both nights benefitting the Fayette County Special Olympics.
