Traffic stop leads to drug suspects at PTC hotel

Six people were arrested early Monday morning on various drug charges as suspects encountered on a traffic stop led to other suspects in a hotel room at the Days Inn on Ga. Highway 54 West.

It all started when officers pulled over two vehicles and arrested a Jonesboro teen for underage possession of alcohol, police said. The trail led officers to a room at the Days Inn where officers found suspects under the influence of a variety of drugs, police said.

"It was just a drug free-for-all," said Police Chief James Murray.

Officers had actually responded to the same hotel room the day before on a disturbance call but no arrests were made, Murray said.

Arrested were:

Sandra Page, 17, of Atlanta for possession of a controlled substance (xanax), possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Courtney Wolfe, 20, of Fayetteville for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a dangerous drug (cyclobenzaprine) and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Jeffrey Duke, 24, of Senoia for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Shannon Sims, 26, of Senoia for possession of a controlled substance (Xanax), possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Joshua Hill, 17, of Jonesboro for underage possession of alcohol.

A juvenile, 16, of Senoia for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).
