Southern Regional sponsors prostate seminar

Throughout the Southern Crescent, men are taking an active part in the fight against prostate cancer. And Southern Regional Health System is helping in their efforts.

During September, which is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, SRHS will sponsor a free lunch-and-learn session on prostate health awareness. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Darrell Carmen of Georgia Urology.

The session will begin at noon Thursday, Sept. 25, and will be held in SRHS's Education Center Auditorium. Parking is free.

To register, please call PROMINA HealthCall at 770-541-1111. The first 25 men to register will receive a free screening. (For the free screening, you must be 50 years or older.)
