DOT to repave some streets in Fayetteville The Georgia Department of Transportation has agreed to resurface several small sections of Fayetteville's streets as part of its annual local road improvement program. This fall, DOT will resurface a total of 1.15 miles of city streets with an estimated cost of $30,184. The biggest section of road that will be resurfaced is on Brandywine Boulevard between Gingercake Road and the road's dead end, a total distance of .59 miles. The remaining four road sections to be resurfaced are less than a quarter mile each, including: Deep Forest Avenue from Ga. Highway 54 to Oak Street, .23 miles; Marquis Drive from Hwy. 54 to Brandywine Boulevard, .22 miles; Melissa Segers Way from Hwy. 54 east to Hwy. 54 West, .06 miles; and Oak Court from Buckeye Lane until the dead end, .05 miles.
