Fall Festival Planned

The Friends of the Chattahoochee Hill Country Alliance invites you to attend a Fall Celebration September 27 from 4 to 8 p.m.

This fun event will be held on a 103-acre tract of land on Hutcheson Ferry Road in south Fulton. Protected by the Alliance with the assistance of The Conservation Fund, this piece of land will be part of the Chattahoochee Hill Country greenway system. Admission is free and open to the public.

Artists, musicians and farmers will highlight the tremendous resources of the Chattahoochee Hill Country, a 40,000-acre area of rolling pasture and scenic forests in south Fulton County. The Alliance and partnering organizations will have informative displays about their accomplishments and plans. Civic organizations and businesses will offer food and beverages for sale. There will be a wildlife exhibit, trail walk, and hayride.

The Friends of the Chattahoochee Hill Country Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide public education about land conservation and to implement innovative ways of managing growth while preserving the environment.

The event will take place on the south side of the intersection of Hutcheson Ferry and Gravel Roads, approximately 0.7 miles west of the intersection of Cochran Mill Road and Hutcheson Ferry Road. Please call (770) 463-1548 for further information.
