The southeast quadrant of Fayette Pavilion continues to grow with plans to build a SunTrust Bank between Johnny Carino's restaurant and the Fayette Rent-All Plaza.

The plans will be considered by the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission at its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The one-story building is roughly 4,000 sq. ft. and will be located off Ga. Highway 85 north. Access will not be directly off the highway but instead off a service drive that serves the Johnny Carino's restaurant.

The bank will feature a three-lane drive-up teller. Plans also call for sidewalks along Ga. Highway 85.

Changes to the plans were not available by the commission's workshop meeting on Tuesday.

And another store is headed to a vacant building at the Pavilion between the Best Buy and Toys R Us stores. Plans have been submitted for a store called Seasonal Concepts, which features seasonal items. The plans include some renovating of the store exterior and relocation of some landscaping.

The commission has also been presented with a revised site plan for the Bruster's Ice Cream that will be located on Ga. Highway 314 between T&G Allsports and the Harris-Stone Cleaners. The plan features a relocation of the building on the parcel for safety reasons.
