Wednesday, September 10, 2003 Knight Group makes top-25 list The Knight Group Inc., which is celebrating 25 years in business this year, remains in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s yearly listing of “Atlanta’s Top 25 Home Builders”. The annual ranking, which was published in the newspaper’s edition for Aug 29-Sept. 4, had The Knight Group in the No. 14 position. The ranking was based on the number of homes closed in 2002. The Knight Group, based in Jonesboro, was founded in 1978 and is currently one of the most active home builders in the Metro South area of Atlanta, building in Clayton, Henry, South Fulton and DeKalb counties.
