Help with Samaritans' Top 10 list The Fayette Samaritans is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping people with immediate needs. These are its needs for September. 1. Canned tuna, salmon. 2. Canned fruit. 3. Clothes detergent, 99¢ box. 4. Canned mixed vegetables. 5. Instant potatoes. 6. Jello and pudding. 7. Pasta sauce in a can. 8. Hand soap. 9. Canned meat, beef stew, chili. 10. Shampoo. The Samaritans' clothes closet needs children's clothes and adult-size large casual clothes. Donations may be taken to the new facility, 126 Hickory Rd., next to the Fayetteville Christian Church. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. Phone 770-719-2702. Carolyn Cary.
