Wednesday, August 13, 2003 Swainey is Leadership Fayette graduate Janeece Swainey, executive vice president and qualifying broker at The Home Source Realtors, is among 2003 Leadership Fayette graduates. Leadership Fayette, which is sponsored by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, offers varied programs that include tours, meetings and events to give participants a better understanding of Fayette County. Included were tours of Panasonic and the Tracon facilities in Peachtree City, information on local government, an informative session on health and human services, and a law enforcement/judicial session that included a tour of the new Fayette County jail. An area economic view and a scavenger hunt highlighting historic, arts and recreation sites across Fayette County were also included. "Customers buying or selling homes count on Realtors to be well-informed about our local area," said Swainey. "Leadership Fayette offers an excellent format to gather the most up-to-date information on a wide range of topics of interest to Fayette residents. I was proud to be a participant."
