Wednesday, August 13, 2003 Finn named Optimist officer Jack Finn, a past president of the Peachtree City chapter of the Optimist Club, has been elected Lieutenant Governor for Zone #10 of the Optimist International Club of Georgia. The zone covers the four Optimist Clubs in Peachtree City, Locust Grove, Fayetteville, and Eagles Landing, respectively. Finn has been an active member of Optimist Club since 1983. His wife, Deanna, is also a member. Together, the two comprise the awardwinning Finn real estate team (www.deannaandjackfinn.prudentialgeorgia.com). They specialize in relocation and downsizing families and work out of the Prudential Georgia Realty Peachtree City office at The Avenue. Finn's position will begin this October and run through September 2004. His duties will include helping the four clubs in Zone #10 with their numerous activities and with growing their membership. The Optimist Club is a civic organization that assists the local community in numerous ways, especially for the youth of the area. Projects have included collecting food for the needy; offering college scholarships; holding a children's golf clinic in the spring; a junior golf tournament and a clinic to teach children the fundamentals of playing tennis.
