New faces in new places

Lisa Amey has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and will work out of the company's Peachtree City office.

Becky Blankenship is a new sales associate with the Peachtree City/Fayette County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

She studied elementary education at Lynchburg College and has a background of 25 years as a policy analyst for the Virginia Department of Social Services. She has also owned her own business.

A Fayette County resident, she is married to Greg Mack. She has one daughter, Whitney Blankenship, 30, and one son, Gray Blankenship, 33.

Stacey V. Cook is a new agent with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

A resident of McDonough, she received her training through the Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate. Her educational background includes studies in loans and mortgage lending.

Linda Cox has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and will work out of the company's Peachtree City office.

Janine Franklin has joined The Home Source Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City.

A Fayetteville resident and a native of High Point, N.C., she is a graduate of Spelman College and also holds a master's degree from Southern Tech. Before coming to The Home Source Realtors she was senior administrator of the Department of Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine. She is a member of the Fayette Board of Realtors.

Jena Gann has joined The Home ource Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City.

A native of Peachtree City and a graduate of Clayton College and State University, she has business skills gained through a decade of experience in customer service and retail sales managing. She is a member of the Fayette Board of Realtors.

Ann Kaalund is a new agent with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Kaalund, who received her training through the MLS Training Institute, is a member of the Metro South Association of Realtors. Her background includes eight years of sales experience in retain and specialty advertising.

A McDonough resident, she is married to Eric Kaalund, assistant general manager of business and finance at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.

She is a member of the Atlanta Track Club, and her other interests include exercising, home decorating, traveling and shopping, as well as volunteer and charity work.

Everette Jabari is a new agent with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

A graduate of the MLS School of Real Estate, Jabari studied culinary arts at the Art Institite of Atlanta, was in the U. S. Marines from 1989-92, and worked as a computer network manager for 10 years prior to entering real estate.

Originally from Chicago, he moved to Newnan from New York City in 2001.

Lana Kariker has joined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Peachtree City/Fayette County office as a sales associate.

Kariker, who has been self-employed in retail sales, and also has experience with Blue Cross-Blue Shield and as a substitute teacher, is a Fayette County resident and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. She is married to Victor Kariker and has two children, Erin and Amber.

Al Logrono, who has been in real estate for four years, is a new agent with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

A Coweta County resident, he is married to Carol Logrono. They have two children, Karen Brooks, 25, and Teresa Logrono, 21; and two grandchildren, Kali Brooks, 4, and Brenan Brooks, one month old.

He is a member of St. George Catholic Church.

Norman R. Perry, who is retired from Delta Air Lines, has joined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Newnan/Coweta County office as a sales associate.

Perry, who received his real estate training through the MLS Institute, is married to Shelia Perry and resides in Coweta County.

He is a member of the Coweta Board of Equalization, the Peachtree City Church of God, Gideons International, and International Harvester Collectors Chapter 29.

Rosemary Purswell is a new sales associate with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Purswell, who received her real estate training through the Gaddy School of Real Estate, is a member of the National, Georgia and Newnan/Coweta Boards of Realtors. She earned a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Holder of a Commercial Pilot License and a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate, she is a member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) and an Accredited Airport Executive member of the American Association of Airport Executives.

Purswell and her husband Bill are residents of Fayette County. She actively participates in the March of Dimes campaign.

Brittany Rainwater has joined the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty as a sales associate.

Rainwater, who received her training through The Gaddy School of Real Estate, has an associate degree in business and a human resources specialist degree from Griffin Technical College. A former Fayetteville resident, she is a new resident of Coweta County. She and her husband Jason, who owns a surveying company in Fayetteville, were married March 22.

They are members of Southcrest Church in Newnan, and she enjoys golf, swimming and traveling.

Bill Smith has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and will work out of the company's Peachtree City office.

Sam Tolbert has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and will work out of the company's Peachtree City office.

Scott Uzpurvis has joined The Home Source Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City.

The University of Georgia graduate is a former small business owner. A native of Augusta, he is a four-year resident of Peachtree City. He is a member of the Fayette Board of Realtors.

Vanessa Valentine has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate as a sales associate. Valentine received her training through the Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate Academy. She has two years of sales and 14 years of customer service experience to offer her clients.

Prior to Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate, Valentine worked as a legal assistant for King and Spalding Law Offices in Atlanta and the Department of Justice for the Attorney Generals Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. She also has an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Tulane University.

Valentine is a member of the Metro South Board of Realtors and plans to specialize in first-time homebuyers.

Valentine will be working through the Peachtree City office, located at 2100 Highway 54 East. She will focus on residential home buying and selling needs.

Phil Wagner has joined the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty as a sales associate.

Wagner, who attended the MLS Training Institute, has bought and sold real estate as an individual investor for 20 years, and he will continue to hold several rental homes.

A 1969 graduate of Georgia Tech with a BSIM degree, he has 32 years of experience with Delta Air Lines, mostly in management.

Wagner, a Stockbridge resident, is married to Brenda Wagner. They have three sons, Clay, 35; Keith, 33; and Chris, 31; and three grandsons, Joshua, 10; Japeth, 6; and Jessie, 3.

He is a member of First Christian Church of Morrow.

Maureen Young has rejoined the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty as a sales associate.

Prior to moving to this area, she attended various financial courses through the Detroit College of Business and the Standard Federal Bank, where she worked for 15 years. She was previously with Coldwell Banker Bullard for two and one-half years, and she has a total of four years of experience in the real estate industry. She is a member of the Metro South Association of Realtors, being named to the Million Dollar Club in 2001 and 2003.

A resident of the Lake Dow area of McDonough, she is married to Dennis A. Young. They have one son, Lee Young.

The Youngs were members of Lost Lake Woods Club, a private hunting/golf club in Northern Michigan, for 22 years. They have belonged to Lake Spivey Golf Club and are also social members of Eagle's Landing Country Club.
