CCSU student teach seminar this fall

Clayton College & State University is conducting a free seminar for students interested in learning a new and exciting computer programming language, Delphi 6.

Peter Zolja, a junior information technology major at Clayton State, and a native of Brasov, Romania who currently resides in Newnan, is teaching the free Delphi 6 seminar.

The seminar is supported by Jon Preston, assistant professor of Information Technology at Clayton State, but it is not an official class and is completely voluntary for anybody who wishes to participate.

Participants will experience a powerful Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and a rich component palette. Delphi users will also experience a true Rapid Application Development (RAD), a fully Object Oriented language, and cross platform projects. Some experience with computer programming languages is recommended but not necessary.

The seminar's meeting times have yet to be decided, but participants will vote on the best times to meet. Clayton State students can sign up for the seminar online at http://x2.ccsunet.clayton.edu/delphi/.
