Samaritans need Top 10 donations The Fayette Samaritans are asking for area residents to donate the following items to the charity to help local people with immediate needs. 1. 2-pound and 5-pound sacks of cornmeal or flour. 2. Bathroom tissue. 3. Clothes detergent, 99¢ box. 4. Dish washing soap (not dishwasher powder). 5. Instant potatoes. 6. Jello and pudding. 7. Pasta sauce in a can. 8. Hand soap. 9. Canned meat (beef stew, chili, etc.). 10. Shampoo. The Fayette Samaritans have moved to their new facility at the corner of New Hope and Hickory Road, beside the Fayetteville Christian Church.
