Colonial Dames hold spring meet By CAROLYN CARY ccary@TheCitizenNews.com The Thomas Johnson Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century met recently to install its 2003-2004 officers. Peachtree City resident, Judy Hughes, honorary state president, performed the ceremony. The program was presented by Rena Setters, Snellville. Costumed for the event, she portrayed Mary Florence Taney, founder of the Society in 1915. The chapter meets four times a year. For information call Susan Lemesis, 770-993-2858.
