A plan to build a retail center on Ga. Highway 54 West that will include a new Ingle's grocery store will be considered by the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission at its regular meeting Tuesday night.

The center, which would include several other stores, would be entered by a new access to the Highway: the extension of Brandywine Boulevard.

The commission will also consider plans for another storefront at the Fayette Pavilion and a Locos Deli and Pub that will be located on Ga. Highway 314. Development plans for a second McDonald's location on Ga. Highway 85 south near the GTO's Drive-In restaurant will also be considered.

Two homeowners are also seeking annexation of their property into the city after learning they were not technically in the city limits although city taxes have been paid on the property in the past.

The two parcels, located on New Hope Road, would still be residentially zoned if the annexations are approved. Both sites combined total less than two acres.

The commission will also discuss a proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance to address mini warehouses in the city.
