Summer school ends with graduationBy MICHAEL
BOYLAN
The front row of seats at Sams Auditorium was filled with students in their caps and gowns on Tuesday morning, as they awaited the beginning of the Fayette County High School Summer School 2003 commencement exercises. The students heard encouraging words from both assistant principal Sharelene Patterson and principal Bill Greenhaw before the graduation address from Dr. Jerry Stinchcomb, director of Griffin Regional Education Service Agency. Sticnhcomb told the graduates that he had received his diploma on that very stage and offered these words of advice, "Show up on time, dress to play." His speech used the words to tell the students how to be successful in education, employment and life. The graduates were Alicia Marie Alls, William Alexander Ames, Christopher David Baczkowski, Chad Steven Brannan, Caroline Ruth Combs, Melissa Dianne Dorminey, Angela Rose Dudley, Christine Louise Dudley, John Oliver Emanuel, George Solomon Harkness III, Melanie Lanelle Jeffords, Aaron Robert Kremple, Samuel Sylvester Lee IV, David Randall Leutz, Daniel Forest Longsworth, Matthew Michael Mikulskis, Annie Louise Outland, Marvin Robinson, Elaine Kilby Rosner, Johnathan Clarence Stricklin, Kevin Michael Swanson, Jame Franklin Thompson and Brandon Timothy Williams.
