PTC man charged with molesting scout A Peachtree City man has been arrested by Upson County authorities for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old Boy Scout. Dennis Paul Spivey, 59, is charged with two counts of child molestation for a January incident that occurred at the Camp Thunder facility in Upson County, said Capt. William Hosley of the Upson County Sheriff's Department. Spivey touched and massaged the victim's buttocks while they were in a recreational vehicle owned by Spivey, Hosley said. It is not unusual for RVs to be brought to the camp for shelter, Hosley said, adding that Spivey was not an employee of the camp. Authorities were told that Spivey was a scoutmaster for the troop from Peachtree City. The investigation began with information that was passed on by the Peachtree City police department, Hosley added. Spivey, who was arrested on the charges June 27, is free after posting a $25,000 cash bond. John Munford
