Bible School starts Sunday

This Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Senoia City Park on Seavy Street, a bold, creative and adventurous Vacation Bible School will commence. Wanted are kids, and lots of them.

This year's innovative VBS is geared for children who next month will be in K-5 through fifth grade. Utilizing the spacious confines of the City Park grounds and playground areas along with the Freeman-Sasser Building, this year's fun and spirit-filled venture is made possible due to the combined leadership and resources of both the Senoia Church of God of Prophecy and the Senoia United Methodist Church.

Each evening session begins at 6:30 p.m., ending at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday'sactivities will featurea concluding cookout closing session for the entire family of participants and other interested persons from the congregations and community as well. "LIGHTHOUSE KIDS: Shining God's Light" is this year's biblical theme. Light learnings will be built around such themes as: God's light attracts. We respond; God's light guides. We trust; God's light arrives. We rejoice; God's light reveals. We believe; and God's light shines. We reflect.
