Wedding Announcements
Hamm-Everett
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hamm of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Annalee Lynn, to Justin Frank Everett, son of David and Teresa Loden of Albany.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Lovejoy High School. She received her bachelor of business administration and her masters of accounting degrees from the University of Georgia, and is a member of Delta Zeta sorority. She currently is employed as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Lee County High School. He received his bachelor of business administration degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia, and is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He currently is employed at Optimus Solutions in Atlanta.
The wedding will be July 12, 2003, at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, with a dinner reception to follow at the Tara Ballroom.
After a honeymoon to St. John in the Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Sandy Springs.
Graham-Okraku
First Lieutenant Renita Constance Graham, daughter of Raczynski and Rosie Graham of Fayetteville, and Wilhelm Afweren Okraku of Ghana, Africa, were married Feb. 1, 2003, at Forest Park Church of Christ. Minister Stew Highberg of Silver Springs, Md., conducted the ceremony.
The bride is a June 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School and a May 2001 graduate of Georgia State University. She entered the Army in July, 2001, as a second lieutenant. She currently is employed by the U.S. Army as a dietician at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.
The groom was graduated from Notre Dame Secondary School in 1995 and from the University of Ghana, Africa, in 1999 with a degree in business administration. He recently was promoted to staff accountant at HMS Host, Inc. in Bethesda, Md.
The maid of honor was the bride’s high school friend, Candace Parker. Bridesmaids were Alicia Bettis and Chata Spikes, friends of the bride, and Kenesha Garner and Catrina Richardson, cousins of the bride. The bell ringer was Ashley Golden, also a cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Stephanie Iliasu, niece of the groom.
The groom’s best man was Henry Iliasu. Groomsmen were Peter Iliasu, brother of the groom; Abiola Abandurin, friend of the groom; and Reynard and Raphael Graham, brothers of the bride. The ring bearer was Reginald Graham, brother of the bride.
A reception at the church followed the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla., and currently reside in Silver Springs, Md.
Mullins-Glaser
Mr. and Mrs. Harlie Fain Mullins of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Connie Frances, to Neil Michael Glaser, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Glaser of Richmond, Va.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed with Delta Air Lines as a flight attendant.
The groom-elect is a graduate of the University of South Alabama. He also is employed with Delta Air Lines.
The wedding will be Aug. 22, 2003, at the Wyndham Hotel. A reception will follow in the Campbell room.
Following a honeymoon in the Greek Islands, the couple will reside in Peachtree City.
Brown-Baptist
Mr. and Mrs. William C. Brown of Barnesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Anne Brown, to Robert Joseph Baptist III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Baptist Jr. of Newnan.
The prospective bride is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilborn Rucker of Fayetteville and Charles Dickens of Barnesville, and the maternal great-granddaughter of Mrs. Maude Dickens of Powder Springs. Her paternal grandparents are Mrs. Betty Brown of Locust Grove and Mr. and Mrs. William O. Brown of Jonesboro. She is a 1998 graduate of Lamar County Comprehensive High School and a 2002 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in history, technology and society. She currently is pursuing a master of divinity degree at Mercer University.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Mrs. Erta Carroll of Houston, Texas. He is a 1995 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Fayette County and a 2001 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in industrial engineering. He currently is employed as an industrial engineer with The Home Depot, Inc.
The wedding will be Aug. 2, 2003, at Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
After a short honeymoon, the couple will reside in Newnan.
New-Korizon
Debra L. New and Gary M. Korizon announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Blair Sr. of Milton, Fla. She currently is employed with Chase Manhattan Mortgage in Peachtree City.
The groom-elect is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Korizon Sr. of Atlanta. He currently is employed with Applied Flooring Systems in Knoxville, Tenn.
The wedding will be July 19, 2003, at the Village Church in Stockbridge. The couple will reside in Fayetteville.
