Tyorne's downtown moratorium extended until Aug. 8

Tyrone Town manager Barry Amos asked the Town Council to extend its moratorium on downtown development until Aug. 8 so that the standards that were created can be put into ordinance format.

The council established a 90-day moratorium in April to develop standards for downtown development.

There will also be public hearings on the standards at both Planning Commission and Town Council. The council agrred with Amos's request and the moratorium has been extended.
