Tyorne's downtown moratorium extended until Aug. 8 Tyrone Town manager Barry Amos asked the Town Council to extend its moratorium on downtown development until Aug. 8 so that the standards that were created can be put into ordinance format. The council established a 90-day moratorium in April to develop standards for downtown development. There will also be public hearings on the standards at both Planning Commission and Town Council.
