Girl trying to raise funds for friend in KosovoBy MICHAEL
BOYLAN
Magbule Hoti or Maggie, as she is known to her friends is trying to help out a friend of hers back in Kosovo. Her friend is need of a kidney transplant and has a donor lined up, but the transplant will cost $50,000 and that is where Maggie is trying to help. Hoti came to Peachtree city from Kosovo several years ago and has worked at Frank Cawood & Associates in Peachtree City for the past two years. Her friends at FC&A have helped her raise a lot of money so far. There was a raffle last week which raised $449 and there was a bake sale on Monday to raise a little more. Hoti also donated her bonus check to the cause, which came to $2,000. Her parents are going to Kosovo July 7 and will bring all of the money raised so far to be added to her friend's account. "I'm just trying to do everything I can," said Hoti, who is very grateful for the private donations and help she has received from her coworkers and colleagues. If you would like to make a donation to help out Hoti and her friend, phone 770-487-6307.
