Piedmont Better Vision offers free LASIK seminar

If you've ever considered vision correction surgery, there is no better time than now to look into the newest advancements available in eye care. To help you learn about the latest techniques, Piedmont Better Vision - a cooperative effort between Piedmont Hospital and Eye Consultants of Atlanta - is offering a free seminar about LASIK and Custom Laser Vision Correction Surgery.

The seminar is Tuesday, July 1, at 6 p.m. at Eye Consultants of Atlanta, 95 Collier Road, Suite 3000, in Atlanta.

One of the country's leading corneal specialists, Alan M. Kozarsky, M.D., will conduct the seminar. Dr. Kozarsky is credited with thousands of successful surgeries, including procedures performed for professional baseball all-stars, Cy Young Award winners, PGA champions, and Oscar and Grammy award winners.

The newest procedure being performed at Piedmont Better Vision is the LADARWave customized wavefront-guided laser eye surgery. The FDA-approved technique uses superior technology to make visual corrections based on the patient's total optical error, not merely his or her eyeglass prescription. The result is reduction of the most common side effects of standard laser procedures, plus overall improved visual acuity - namely a higher chance of achieving 20/20 vision or better without optical aberrations.

Bring your glasses or prescription to the seminar to find out if you are a candidate for corrective eye surgery.
