Security guard at air traffic facility arrested for drug possession
A security guard at the Atlanta Tracon air traffic control facility has been arrested for possession of cocaine by Peachtree City Police. Darren Raton Mills, 40, of Atlanta was also charged Tuesday with possession of marijuana after he was confronted by police officers at the facility. Police said the investigation began when FAA officials forwarded drug information about Mills to officers. Mills had the cocaine on his person stashed in a cell phone case on his belt when he was arrested, according to a warrant for his arrest. Police also found a substance believed to be marijuana in his 2003 Chevy Silverado truck that was also parked at the FAA facility. Mills works for Allied Protection Security, a private firm that performs security at the site. John Munford
