McGann-Vetter
Mr. and Mrs. Mark A. McGann of Fayetteville announce the betrothal of their daughter, Jennifer Marie, to Kevin Edward Vetter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Vetter of Columbia, S.C.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mulvenna of Fayetteville and Andrew McGann and the late Marie H. McGann of New York City. She is a graduate of Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy and the University of Georgia in Athens, where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree and was an officer of Gamma Sigma Sigma honorary service sorority and the university’s Catholic Student Fellowship. She currently is employed as a graphic designer for CNN Headline News in Atlanta and resides in Decatur.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Vetter of Hicksville, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Kimpel of Edgerton, Ohio. He is a graduate of Collins Hill High School in Lawrenceville and the University of Georgia in Athens where he earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He was active in the university’s Catholic Student Fellowship and served as a peer minister. He currently is a database administrator for Softcard Systems in Watkinsville and resides in Atlanta.
The wedding will be July 5, 2003, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur.
Holmes-Rogers
Paige and Zan Holmes of Peachtree City, along with Graceann and Alex Rogers of Griffin, announce the engagement of their parents, Linda Holmes and Mark Rogers.
The bride-to-be attended Clayton State University and Georgia Southern University. She currently is vice president of human resources for Fiserv.
The groom-elect was graduated from Mercer University and received his master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. He is an economic consultant based in Griffin.
The wedding will be July 26, 2003, at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at The Hollingsworth house in Fayetteville.
After a honeymoon to Vancouver, Canada, the couple will reside in Peachtree City.
