Starbucks announces recall on cupsBy MICHAEL
BOYLAN
If you have recently visited a Starbucks and purchased a plastic Bearista Bear tumbler cup, you should note that recall has been announced. Small pieces of plastic have been known to detach if the flexible straw on the cups is chewed, posing a choking hazard to young children. The cup, which comes in blue or green, has a screw-on lid in the shape of a bear's head, from which a soft, flexible straw protrudes. Parents and caregivers should stop young children from using this cup immediately and return the cups to any Starbucks location for a refund and a free beverage of any size. Phone Starbucks Customer Relations at 1-800-235-2883 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. any day for more information.
