More restaurants coming just south of Fayette PavilionBy JOHN
MUNFORD
Three new restaurants are on Fayetteville's horizon, with two well under construction and a third just approved by the city all of which will be located just south of Fayette Pavilion. All three are surely to have mouths watering in anticipation. One of the two restaurants under construction is Bugaboo Creek Steak House, which will offer fare from the Canadian Rockies. The other is a familiar name to Fayette dining connoisseurs: Ted's Montana Grill, which has already had success in Peachtree City with its offerings including bison dishes. The third restaurant, which is a little further away time-wise, is O'Charley's, which offers more traditional fare with still unique dishes. All three restaurants should be family-friendly, with kids menus available at each. In a unique arrangement, the three restaurants will share some parking spaces. The area will also be linked to Fayette Pavilion via a driveway. The main entrance, however, will be located off Ga. Highway 85 at the intersection of Ellis Road. The developer, Thomas Enterprises, has applied for a traffic light at the intersection which has not yet been approved by the Georgia Department of Transportation, according to city engineer Don Easterbrook. The site is already anchored by Johnny Carino's Country Italian restaurant, which has also proved to be a popular offering in the Fayetteville restaurant scene. In addition to a variety of beef cuts, the Bugaboo Creek Steak House offers grilled fresh salmon, and spit-roasted chicken along with several unique dishes including "Canadian Jambalaya" and "BBQ Chicken Nachos." Along with its famous bison burger selection, Ted's Montana Grill, with its 1940s diner theme, also features a marinated "Brick Chicken" and daily blue plate specials such as pot roast, roast turkey and pecan trout. O'Charley's offers a slightly more traditional menu with steak and prime rib along with fresh chicken dishes and a variety of salad offerings in addition to the fresh grilled salmon and grilled tuna.
