In 1983, Jimmy Halligan started Highland Developers by building duplexes and entry level homes in Gwinnett County. From those first homes, he expanded into developing his own subdivisions with a model home, and as time went on he began developing lots for other builders and homeowners in DeKalb, Fulton, Fayette, and Coweta counties.

Building homes in Peachtree City since 1992, Halligan is familiar with how important it is for individuals to have the opportunity to build a home perfect for their lifestyle. That is why last year Highland Developers joined up with Joe Terrell, of Joseph Terrell Interests, Inc., to create Halligan/Terrell Venture I.

One-acre lots, located in the Kedron area, are available for individuals to purchase. "This is a unique opportunity in Peachtree City for individuals to select their own lot as well choose their own builder," said Terri Jones, who has worked for Halligan for 11 years. "Usually a developer sells directly to builders" who in turn build homes to sell to the homeowners.

This venture is truly about the individual and his or her ideal home. It allows people to have flexibilty with their home, and to have it built the way they want it rather the simply choosing from pre-built homes.

These lots are located in Maple Shade across the street from Kedron Elementary with easy access to Interstate 85. These lots surely are the last of their kind here in Peachtree City where open land is becoming scarce. To take advantage of this opportunity call Terri Jones at 770-487-1673.
