New faces in new places in local real estate

Anita Buffington has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. She is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Marcelo Chaves has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office, focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Holly Crow is a new agent with the Peachtree City/Fayette County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

A Fayette County resident, she is married to Vincent Crow and has three children: Michael, 21, Katherine, 13, and Hunter, 3.

She is a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church and the Moms Club of Fayetteville.

Danette Faerber has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. She is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Yolanda Hill has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. She is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Donna Jones has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. She is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Vanessa H. Jones is a new sales associate with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Also the owner of a gift basket business, The Gift House, she received her training through the MLS Training Institute and as a new home sales hostess.

A Rex resident, she is married to Andrew Jones and has two children, Makayla, 4, and Dakota, 8.

Leslie Odom has joined Griffin Financial Services as a new mortgage banker, working from the company's headquarters in Fayetteville.

Raised in Norcross, she has 14 years of experience in customer service and office administration.

A 1995 graduate of the State University of West Georgia with a B.S. degree, she is married to Fayette County native Dan Odom, who is a real estate appraiser.

Anita Praytor is a new sales associate with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

She earned a B.A. degree in psychology from USC and has 22 years of experience as a commercial banker. She has been married to James Praytor for 22 years. He is retired from the U. S. Air Force, as were his father and her father. The Praytors have lived in six states and have been buyers and/or sellers of five residences.

A Stockbridge resident, she is a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, where she sings in the choir.

Rick Roland has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. He is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Phyllis Short has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office. She is focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Gaynell Sutton has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate and is working out of the Peachtree City office, focusing on residential home buying and selling needs.

Kit Tisdale is now among the full-time real estate professionals at The Home Source Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City. A Fayette resident, she specializes in new and resale homes in Peachtree City, Fayette and Coweta.

Tisdale has been involved in real estate since 1997 and is experienced in new homes and general brokerage. She also has extensive relocation experience.

She is a member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors and completed the Fayette Board of Realtors Leadership Training program 2002.

Elizabeth Michele Yeoman is a new agent with the Barnesville/Lamar County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

"For the past two years, I've had a successful real estate experience working with mentors from the largest, oldest and most prestigious family-owned real estate company in the neighboring county of Upson," she said. "I have relocated to be of service in meeting the real estate needs of the citizens of Barnesville and Lamar County, and I also look forward to working with my new team members from Coldwell Banker Bullard."

A Pike County resident, she is the daughter of Emmitt and Clara Yeoman of Meansville and is the mother of two daughters, Rayann, 13, and Lorna, 8.

She took an active role with the Chamber of Commerce in her previous hometown of Thomaston and plans to be active with the Chamber of Commerce in Barnesville. She is a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church.

Laura Young is a new mortgage banker for Griffin Financial Services, which has its headquarters in Fayetteville.

She has been a Fayette County resident for four and one-half years, moving here from South Florida. Her work experience includes six years of advertising sales experience, three of those years with the Fayette Daily News.

She is married to Jay Young, who is a captain with United Airlines. They have two children: Kristen, 17, who is a graduating senior at Starr's Mill High School; and Brian, 12, who will be a seventh-grader at Rising Star Middle School this fall.
