Wedding Announcements

Adams-Masson

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Adams of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikki, to John David Masson, son of Dr. and Mrs. Greg Masson of Fredericksburg, Va.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor of business administration degree in banking/finance and management. She currently is portfolio administrator at City Capital in Atlanta.
The future groom will receive his bachelor of arts and science degree in geology from the University of Georgia in 2003. He currently is employed as manager of the Pet Store in Athens.
The wedding will be June 22, 2003, at the Botanical Gardens Chapel in Athens.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Winder.

Carter-McCarty

Kimberly R. Carter and Kevin L. McCarty were married in a private sunset ceremony in Key West, Fla. on Feb. 8, 2003. The couple was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Brent Scarbrough, Angela Sims and Chad Smith.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Entrekin of Brooks and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy (JoAnne) Maddox of Panama City, Fla. She is employed with Action Plumbing in Fayetteville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis McCarty of Fairburn and Lynn McCarty of Grantville. He is employed by Bob Adams Homes, Inc., of Tyrone.
The couple resides in Fayette County.

Dallas-Isbell

Mr. and Mrs. Claude L. Dallas, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sheila Denise to Dr. Charles Lee Isbell, Jr., son of son of Ms. Jacqueline Isbell of East Point and Charles Isbell of Chattanooga, Tenn.
The bride-to-be, a 1997 graduate of Princeton High School, received her bachelors degree in computer science from Clemson University in 2001 where she graduated cum laude. She currently lives in Atlanta where she is a software developer with a Charleston, S.C. firm.
Following his graduation from Georgia Tech with highest honors, the groom-elect received his Ph.D. in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1998. He is now professor of the College of Computing at Georgia Tech.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 14, 2003 in Jonesboro. After honeymooning on St Martin and Anguilla, the couple will reside in Fayette County.

Harrell-Adams

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Harrell of Brooks announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Nicole, to William Joshua Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Adams of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cole of Brooks, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harrell of Peachtree City and the late Katie Harrell. She was graduated from Fayette County High School and attended Gordon College. She currently is a business manager for Clinique at Belk in Fayetteville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wade Sr. of Fayetteville, Joyce Adams of Fayetteville, and the late Earl Adams. He is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and is employed as a service technician with Allan Vigil Southlake Ford.
The wedding will be June 28, 2003, at Flat Creek Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the Harrell home.
Following a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will reside in Senoia.

Harrelson-Schloegel

Steve and Traci Harrelson of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey A. Harrelson, to Adam M. Schloegel, son of George M and Joan M. Schloegel, also of Peachtree city.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jim and Janet Klisanin and Judy and Bert Schmidt, and Clyde and Carolyn Harrelson and Frances and Harry Booth. She was graduated from McIntosh High School in 1998 and attended West Georgia College. She currently is employed with Open Fayette Imaging in Fayetteville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of George and Margurite Schloegel of Evansville, Ind. and Joseph and Lorraine Marciano of Holbrook, N.Y. He is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 graduate of Georgia State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in aviation management. He currently is employed with Slepian and Schwartz, Attorneys at Law, in Peachtree City.
The wedding will be June 28, 2003, at Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God in Sharpsburg.
Following a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple will reside in Newnan.

Menick-Waters

Ron and Diana Menick of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Patricia Menick, to Edward Waters II, son of Gary and Betty Hawk of Monroe.
The bride to be is a 1998 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 graduate of the State University of West Georgia. She is employed by Ram Partners.
The future groom was graduated from Loganville High School in 1998 and attended the State University of West Georgia. He is employed by Marketing Group South.
The wedding will be Sept. 20, 2003, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, followed by a reception at the Wyndam Peachtree Executive Conference Center.
The couple will honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
