I-85 lanes to close this weekend Residents in the south metro area will have to contend with lanes on Interstate 85 closed this weekend. The DOT announced that two lanes of I-85 southbound near milepost 49 in Coweta County will be closed this weekend. The lane closures start Friday evening and run through Monday morning. One lane of the interstate will remain open during construction. DOT crews will be repairing endwalls and replacing approach slabs during the weekend. What do you think of this story?
