Wedding Announcements

Jacobson-Malcom

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jacobson of Peachtree City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christy Ann Jacobson, to Jason Benjamin Malcom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wilson of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. June Bloomfield of Seattle, Wash, and the late Harold Bloomfield, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vern Jacobson. She is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and Georgia State University and currently is employed by Network of International Christian Schools (NICS).
The groom-elect, the son of the late Jimmy Malcom, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Matthews of Thomaston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Holland Malcom. He is a 1997 graduate of Fayette County High School and currently is employed by ASA Airlines in Atlanta.
The wedding will be June 28, 2003, at Something Special antebellum home in Newnan. Following a Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple will reside in Seoul, Korea, where they will be missionaries for ICS.

Whitman-Smith

Donald and Barbara Whitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Ann, to William Marcus Smith, son of Timothy and Patricia Smith of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Henrietta D. Yancey of Dawson, Ala. She is a graduate of Landmark Christian High School and Berry College, where she received a bachelor of science degree in psychology, religion and education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Dewitt Paul Smith of Union City. He is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and Georgia School of Technology where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He will attend seminary in the fall at Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, Tenn.
The wedding will be July 12, 2003, at McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
