Police say man lied about 'stolen' vehicle A Peachtree City man has been arrested for faking the theft of his car, according to police. Kenneth Slattery, 34, has been charged with willfully obstructing and hindering a law enforcement officer and falsifying statements and concealing facts. Slattery reported his vehicle stolen in April, and police eventually arrested someone else driving the car, police said. Slattery then told police he had actually loaned the car out to a friend and he lied to police about the incident. John Munford What do you think of this story?
