Wedding Announcements

LaBonte-Ross

Mr. And Mrs. Don LaBonte of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Anne, to Martin Joseph Ross, son of Mr. And Mrs. Tim Ross of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis LaBonte of Springfield, Ohio. She is a 1999 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, and will graduate from the State University of West Georgia in December 2003 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Tom Ross of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mrs. Mary Lou Morrissey of Valeria, Iowa, and the late Joseph Morrissey. He is a 1996 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2000 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in aviation management. He is currently employed by Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, and resides in Birmingham.
The wedding will be June 28, 2003, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone. A reception will be held at Poplar Grove in Sharpsburg.

Lotti-Olver

Melinda Marie Lotti and Brian William Olver were married Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in downtown Savannah. A reception followed at the Savannah Hilton.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Young and Mr. and Mrs. David Lotti, all of Fayetteville, and the granddaughter of Jacqueline Hambrick of Union City and Mr. and Mrs. George Lotti of Ft. Myers, Fla. She is a 1997 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in management. She currently is employed as a financial analyst with HPS Paradign.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Christine Olver of Pahrump, Nev. and the late Lt. Col. Eric T. Olver, and the grandson of Lt. Col. William Collette of Las Vegas, Nev. and Lt. Col and Mrs. Thomas Olver of Fayetteville, N.C. He is a 1995 graduate of Salome High School in Salome, Ariz. and a 1998 graduate of Northern Arizona University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He currently is a sergeant serving with the U.S. Army Rangers based in Savannah, and has served two tours in Operation Enduring Freedom and a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The couple currently resides in Savannah.

Regan (Phillips)-Lindamood

Steve and Resa Phillips of Senoia announce the engagement of their daughter, Jesse Lee Regan, to Christopher Paul Lindamood, son of Richard and Dawn Lindamood of Newnan.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Royce Regeon of Fayetteville, Ken and Blanche Regeon Babcock of Fayetteville, and Charles and Jackie Phillips of Dadeville, Ala.
The groom-elect is the grandson of J.B. and Mary Lindamood of Tyrone, and Raymond Billar of Conley.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. on June 7, 2003, at Turin United Methodist church in Turin. A reception will follow.

Sherrill-Mason

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Sherrill of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Leigh Sherrill, to Christopher Michael Mason, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mason of Covington.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Vernon Broyles and the late Ruby Hope Broyles of Nederland, Texas, and Mrs. Anita Sherrill and the late Walter Sherrill of Hattiesburg, Miss. She is a 1998 graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and a 2002 graduate of Berry College, where she was a Winshape Scholar and earned a bachelor of music degree. She currently is employed as a churus director at Sonoraville East Middle School in Calhoun.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Jack Clark and the late Betty Clark, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mason of Covington. He is a 1997 graduate of George Walton Academy in Monroe and a 2001 graduate of Berry College where he earned a B.S. in family and community services. He is self-employed as a singer/songwriter in the Atlanta area.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 1, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Nashville, Tenn.

Wood-Freeman

Mrs. Thomas E. Farr of Peachtree City announces the engagement of her daughter, Whitney Leigh Wood, to Robert McElhannon Freeman III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Freeman Jr. of Athens.
The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Thomas E. Farr and Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Wood of Griffin. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floy Farr of Peachtree City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Young of Griffin. She is a 1996 graduate of McIntosh High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a degree in management information systems. She is employed by State Farm Insurance Companies in Athens.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Freeman of Jefferson and Margaret Hancock and the late John Hancock of Murrells Inlet, S.C. He is a 1990 graduate of Clarke Central High School in Athens and a graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a degree in geography. He currently works as a partner in his real estate appraisal firm.
A June wedding is planned at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City.
