Success at SummerGrove prompts new neighborhood opening

Just as SummerGrove already nears its 100th home sale for 2003, Pathway Communities, the developer of SummerGrove, unveils a new community to meet increased consumer demand.

Award-winning builders Chadwick Homes and Jerry Ballard Homes are the featured builders in The Gables. This neighborhood borders the championship golf course and features homes from the $200s.

"The Gables represents one of the most popular product styles and price range at SummerGrove," said Peggy Sullivan, Pathway Communities vice president of marketing. "In fact, in 2002, over 40 percent of the homes sold in SummerGrove were priced from the $200s."

SummerGrove's housing options are perfectly complimented by the community's expansive amenities. Over five miles of walking trails and pedestrian paths, a 100-acre lake, a tennis complex, a competition-size swimming pool, and an 18-hole public golf course highlight the community. Plus, SummerGrove has a water park featuring a lazy river ride, water sprays, and a large water mushroom.

The community also offers a unique technology program, including structured wiring for every home, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access, and Atlanta's first interactive community Intranet.

In addition to Chadwick Homes and Jerry Ballard Homes, SummerGrove has 14 other builders and 13 designer model homes to give home buyers a feel for the range of choices available at the community. Homes are priced from the $130s to over $700,000 and range in style from traditional to turn-of-the-century to today's contemporary.

SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan. The Information Center is open daily 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m.-6 p.m. For more information, call 770-252-9000, or visit www.summergrove.com.
