New faces in new places

Julia Blair has joined Prudential Georgia Realty's Peachtree City office at The Avenue.

A native Atlantan, she now resides with her family in Newnan. She is a member of the Coweta County Board of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. In addition, she has already obtained her eCertified designation from Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.

John P. Blount has joined the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty as a sales associate.

Blount, who received his training at the MLS Training Institute, is a native of Port St. Joe, Fla., and he moved to Coweta County in 1989. A Sharpsburg resident, he is married to Pat Blount. They have two children: Jeremy, 11, and Amy, 9.

Blount is an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 55, assists with his daughter's Girl Scout Troop, and volunteers with his children's school activities.

Ed Boston has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate as a sales associate in the Peachtree City office.

Prior to joining Metro Brokers, Boston worked for elBoston Consulting as a consultant and Mars Inc. in sales, marketing and human resources. He brings more than 23 years of sales and marketing experience to the company.

Boston also has a master's degree in guidance and counseling as well as a bachelor of arts in history/political science from Fort Valley State University.

Helen Davis is a new sales associate with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

She is a retired Delta Air Lines employee with 27 years of experience in information technology. For the past seven years, she worked with contracts and did financial analysis. She also has a degree in special education and has worked as a substitute teacher in the Coweta County School System.

A Newnan resident, she is married to Noel Davis and has one daughter, Cary, 32, and one son, Robert, 30.

Tim Gay has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate's Peachtree City office.

Gay has served the real estate industry for more than two years and brings 30 years of sales experience to the company. He is a member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors and specializes in move-up buyers.

Yolanda Hall has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate as a sales associate in the Peachtree City office. She brings three years of sales and management experience to the company.

Randy Jones is a new agent with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Jones, who has been in real estate for two years, also has a background of 26 years in the electric utility business. He and his wife Linda are residents of Henry County. They have three children Clint, 30; Rayonna, 27; and Christie, 25 and five grandchildren.

Veteran Realtor William L. (Bill) Lewis, who has 47 years of experience in the industry, has rejoined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Lewis, who was previously with the company from 1986 through 1993, is now working from the company's McDonough/Henry County office. He is a former member of the board and former chaplain of the Clayton/Henry Board of Realtors, now known as the Metro South Association of Realtors.

A Henry County resident, he is married to Elizabeth Lewis. They have one son, W. Timothy Lewis, 42, and two granddaughters: Chelsea, 12, and Chloe, 9.

Sam Madaris has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate as a sales associate in the Peachtree City office.

Previously, Madaris was a senior consultant for Lucent Technologies and an engagement director for CompuCom and Inacom. He brings more than nine years of sales experience and 18 years of technology and management services to the company.

Madaris also has a master's degree in finance from Georgia State University and a bachelor of arts in computer science and business administration from LaGrange College.

Jim Maro has joined Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate's Peachtree City office.

Maro, a Georgia native, has worked as an entrepreneur in sales and marketing for more than 10 years.

Prior to starting his own business, he also worked in new construction for six years as a master carpenter. He uses this experience to help clients who are interested in building in new home communities.

LaVerne Morris is a new sales associate with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

A veteran of approximately 40 years in real estate, she previously sold real estate in Florida and held a broker's license for 20 years in St. Louis, where she was a member of the Million Dollar Club. A physician's assistant for over 30 years, she also possesses excellent skills in computer training.

Morris has one daughter, Judy Martin of St. Louis; one son, Jack Morris of Palm Springs, Calif.; and three grandchildren: Katie, Stephanie and Zachary of St. Louis.

A McDonough resident, she is a member of Mt. Bethel Church, where she sings in the choir. She delivers Meal on Wheels to the elderly and shut-ins, and she enjoys biking and tennis.

Shirley Parker is a new sales associate with the McDonough/Henry County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Parker, who studied business at Clayton College & State University, has owned a decorating and wallpapering business for 15 years. A Henry County resident, she is married to Roy Upchurch, and she has two children: Demetria Lea Parker, 28, and Natalie Elizabeth Nelson, 21.
