Wednesday, May 14, 2003 Fitzgerald named top county Realtor Susan Fitzgerald of The Home Source Realtors has been named by the Fayette County Board of Realtors as its No. 1 producer for 2002 with a qualifying volume or more than $17.4 million in residential real estate sales. Fitzgerald began her career in real estate in 1995 with a $36,000 sale. She joined The Home Source Realtors soon after, and has been the company's Agent of the Year from 1996-2002. She has been a member of the Fayette Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club for high sales volume for eight years, and specializes in homes in the $300's and up in Peachtree City, Fayette and Coweta counties. Fitzgerald also is Number 4 in Atlanta among Realtors affiliated with independent real estate brokerages, according to Communities Magazine. A Registered Appraiser, she holds the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation. Referrals, repeat business, knowing the market, friendships, and long hours are among the keys to her success, Fitzgerald said. "I am fortunate to have found something I love to do, and Fayette county is a wonderful place to live and work," she said. "I try to listen carefully to my customers to really understand their housing wants and needs."
