Christian Women's Club elects new officers By CAROLYN CARY ccary@TheCitizenNews.com The Christian Women's Club is an organization serving the Jonesboro-Fayetteville area as well as all areas south of Atlanta. It's Rags to Riches luncheon will be Thursday, May 15, at The Links Golf Club. It will begin at noon. Speaker for the occasion is Mary Ann Oliver of Oxford, and her theme will be how she went from rags to riches. Avis Miller will entertain with several vocal selections. Complimentary nursery and child care is provided if needed with your reservation. You will need to bring a sack lunch for them. The cost of the lunch is $10.50 inclusive and reservations must be made by Monday, May 12. For information and reservations call Martha at 770-969-9264. Christian Women's Club is part of an international organization with headquarters in Kansas City, Mo. It is nondenominational and has over 2,000 groups in the United States and Canada.
