Long hours, no pay: PTC puts out 'help wanted' sign

Following action taken by the City Council last week, Peachtree City is advertising vacancies for several volunteer, non-paying positions on city boards.

One vacancy for the Fayette County Board of Health (to fill an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2008).

One vacancy for the Peachtree City Planning Commission (3-year term).

One vacancy for the Development Authority of Peachtree City (6-year term).

The deadline to apply for these vacancies is Friday, June 13. Applications are available at City Hall. Contact Gloria Reid at 770-487-7657 for further information.
