Pfeifer to attend May 7 commission meeting After a five-month absence, Fayette County Commissioner Peter Pfeifer will be attending the commission's May 7 meeting. County Commission Chairman Greg Dunn announced at Thursday's meeting that Pfeifer had returned to work and would be able to re-start his duties with the county next week. "I talked to him today, and he's in really good spirits,' Dunn said. Pfeifer was hospitalized in mid-December after a crippling headache. Doctors discovered brain bleeding and treated the commissioner at Piedmont Hospital before sending him home earlier this year. John Thompson What do you think of this story?
