Hope House hosts Hustle for Hospice

Southwest Christian Hospice and Hope House will kick off its 10th annual "Hustle for Hospice" 5K Run/Walk Saturday, May 3.

Captain Herb Emory of WSB Radio/TV will be on hand to get the race started. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. for runners and 8:35 a.m. for walkers.

Registration is $20 on race day, and registrants should plan to arrive early to pick up packets before the run/walk. The race will begin at the Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City.

There will be T-shirts and prizes for all participants and several drawings will be held throughout the day's events. A price will be awarded to the team with the most participants, so they suggest you get your club or church group to run.

Southwest Christian Hospice and Hope House is a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to served the terminally ill, the medically fragile child, and their families. Its home care program serves the entire Southern Crescent, including Fayette County. All proceeds will to go patient care.
