Fayette YPH hires new director The Board of Directors of the Fayette Youth Protections Homes recently gave a reception to introduce its new executive director, Sonja Strickland. She comes to the area from Fayetteville, Tenn., where she was an executive director for a shelter home. She brings with her many years of experience dealing with victims of domestic violence and abuse. Her local duties will include working with the Fayette County Department of Family and Children's Services, and the Fayette Youth Protection Homes program director, which is sponsored by Georgia Baptist Children's Home and Families Service.
